Keyword Research Services – I’m Testing The Instacash Keyword Service, Follow Me While I Test

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? I can find keywords all day long. I have a problem finding good ones.

When I used Google’s keyword tool I trusted the results 100%. A big company like that wouldn’t give false results, would they? Turns out they do and they don’t.

What you see (the data) is not what you get. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I accidentally discovered the answer to that puzzle.

I targeted a keyword that ’said’ it had about 5000 competing web pages. I felt I could do well with that one. I started banging articles out left right and centre. Hundreds in fact.

Soon after I noticed Google telling me there was about 9000 competing pages now. I could hardly believe that. Had there been some mistake? It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.

What I’m saying is that I would have left it alone had I saw over 9000 competing sites. A lot of these sites were ranking with my article so I had a lot of competition but most of it was my own articles. A nice situation to be in!

Not wanting to rely on luck every time I thought I’d try a keyword research service. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. I calculated the cost of these services and concluded that they were value for money.

I chose to give Travis Sago’s Instacash keyword service a go. Travis being at the top of the bum marketing pile. Bum (article) marketing is something I enjoy as it’s almost free.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. Two hours or so to me is quite valuable. Put that couples hours saved against the daily cost and it adds up to value.

I get a lot of emails from gurus banging on about outsourcing. I see this as an outsourcing project. I’m simply outsourcing the job to a keyword research service.

If you want to hear about my trial of the Instacash service get yourself over to my website. I also mention earlier about thousands of articles published for one keyword. I’ll explain how I did that on my site.

Keyword Research Services – Read My In Depth Test Of One

Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? Finding keywords isn’t actually the problem. Most of what I find are just not good enough.

I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Sadly, that’s not always how it goes.

What you see (the data) is not what you get. However it would have been when they collated it. The answer to this particular enigma came to me almost accidentally.

I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. Great I thought, I can nail that. I started churning out articles by the bucket load.

Not long after I saw that there were now almost nine thousand competing sites. My heart sank, I thought my task was gonna be twice as hard now. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.

My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A great result in the end for that key phrase.

I got lucky on that keyword but I suspected I may not get lucky again so I made the decision to try out a keyword research service. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. Balancing cost against time taken (by me) seemed to prove it could be a valuable asset.

Of the keyword research services on offer I opted to try Travis Sago’s Instacash. Travis being at the top of the bum marketing pile. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.

One or two good quality keywords delivered each day could save me hours of time. An hour or two of my time is highly valuable to me when all I have is time. For what the service costs each day against my 2 hours means I’m getting huge value.

Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I see this as an outsourcing project. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.

If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. Earlier I mentioned that I ended up with thousands of articles on websites for a certain keyword. I’ll show you how I did that at my site.

Keyword Research Services – Value For Money Or A Waste Of Space?

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

If you aren’t a guru then you may (like me) find keyword research difficult. I can find lots of them. Most of what I find are useless though.

I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. I mean, they wouldn’t be telling fibs about their data, would they? Well, it turns out the figures aren’t always right.

The data returned isn’t accurate. It would have been correct at some point though. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.

I was going for a keyword that had roughly five thousand competing pages. I was pretty confident I could get a result from that. I put out probably thousands of articles.

It didn’t take long to notice there were now over 9000 competing sites. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I started to think thinks weren’t going to be easy as I thought. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.

My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. Turns out I was competing mostly against myself as my article was the cause of these sites ranking. A good result all round in my opinion.

I got lucky on that keyword but I suspected I may not get lucky again so I made the decision to try out a keyword research service. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. Balancing cost against time taken (by me) seemed to prove it could be a valuable asset.

I get a lot of emails from gurus banging on about outsourcing. I see this as an outsourcing project. I’m giving my keyword research to someone else to do. That’s outsourcing.

If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I said earlier about how I got loads of articles published for my chosen keyword. I’ll also tell you how I did that at my site.
